Carlos was invited to speak at ‘Nuestras Historias’, a talk/panel pecha-kucha style highlighting the current landscape in the artistic scene of the Latinx community in the metropolitan region of Charlotte, NC. Subsequent panel the following day on an intercultural approach to change-making and movement-building within the arts.

"The 31st NALAC Regional Arts Training Workshop was held on June 2 and 3 in Charlotte-- a key opportunity for artists, cultural workers, organizers, educators, activists, and allies from across the region to network, learn, and build together. In partnership with the North Carolina Humanities Council and their initiative Journey in the New South: Conversations on the Legacy of Race and Ethnicity in North Carolina, this convening will explore what it means to be Latinx in the South and the artists and scholars who are leading the way across the region's diverse communities." - NALAC.org
